We offer base webs produced by Retal company for food and technical applications. These are rigid APET foils of various thickness and material structure. In the food industry, they are being used for packaging of dairy products (sliced cheese, pieces and quargs), meat (fresh meat, sausages) and fish products, after prior thermoforming of the appropriate shape of the package.

• Rigid foils made of APET make it possible to extend the shelf life of the product by packaging in a modified atmosphere and, if necessary, using a structure with a barrier (EVOH, AlOx).


• They can have an easy opening function (peel) or be sealed to the upper foil (flexible) with the reclose function.


• Nowadays, packaging with useage of mono-APET foil and flexible top foil, sealable to mono-APET, becomes more and more popular. Thanks to this, the base part of the package (mono-APET), which means approx. 85% by weight of the total, can be recycled.
